Rescue by Keith Wandell A place to be free without any fuss… It’s a place where we can finally be "us". Not the same routine, "from the cage to the box.” We get to run, romp, and play… ”This place really rocks!” Even when we slip up, it’s not misunderstood… It’s taken in stride, and we’re taught to be good. “Who’s this guy Keith, and why does he care…?” He knows what we faced and how it’s not fair. Now he’ll work hard to find us new homes And while we wait, we won’t feel alone. In the mean time, Buddy, what should we do? “You can chase me, and then I’ll chase you!” When we came here, some of us didn’t have names… We weren’t shoved to the side. We were treated the same. After long days, full of romp and play We’re fed a good meal, and tucked snug away.. I’ve enjoyed myself. What do you think? Many of us wouldn’t be here, if not for B.U.D.D.I.E.S., Inc. |
